Finally - an update!
Well life has been busy here for me as I have begun to find a life. I have joined a drinking club with running problem in a group called the Hashers. This is a world wide running walking club with people who are loads of fun. You walk or you run with the goal of getting to the destination - BEER!!!
I have been getting out and seeing other parts of Korea as there are runs every weekend in different parts of the city and surrounding areas. I have met a number of wonderful people from the United States. There is a big military base here in Itaewon and that is the westerner hot spot. I have been heading out there pretty much every weekend all weekend for the last several weeks out at the bars on Friday and Saturday nights and doing the hash runs Saturday and Sunday morning. I have met some really nice girls from Wisconsin through a friend from Perth, Australia. They let me stay over for the the weekends as the transit system in Korea stops at midnight and I'm about 45 minutes to an hour by train from Seoul.

A couple of Hasher's unwinding after a run and celebrating a 30th birthday for Nut-N-Bone. After 5 runs all Hashers get a nickname - usually of the Blue variety. This game had a cherry being passed around the table. Ahem - some guys were unlucky and were sitting beside other guys -- too bad for them but I was in a "good seat."

Christen, one of my new friends giving Nut-N-Bone his birthday eyelashes. Say What? I don't know - maybe it's an American thing?

The Koreans have not quite mastered the translation - This sign was out front of a very popular night club.

Ahh the Wisconsin sisters as I call them. Christen is on the left and Paula on the right. Christen served in the US military for 10 years and in Iraq for four. Paula plays goalie for the Gaelic Rugby team. They're some of the nicest people I have met since being in Korea.

Paula gave me a boob noogie when I was not paying attention.
